The alleged victim of MrBeast’s former co-host has released a new statement after “inappropriate” messages about sexual topics appeared online.
Ava Kris Tyson, 28, came under fire this week for entering into a relationship with a 13-year-old boy, known only as Lava, when she was 20, eight years before she transitioned.
Lava, now 20, had previously called the allegations “massive lies” that were “distorting the truth,” but dozens of Discord messages from 2019 on Tyson’s server featured explicit content, despite the presence of children.
Screenshots of the server claimed to show words like “c*m,” NSFW (not safe for work), and “pornography.”
“These conversations should not have happened with people of my age at the time; I strongly condemn them,” Lava said.
“I was a minor in that situation and not the influential adult who should not have allowed this to happen. At the time, I didn’t consider it wrong.”

However, an hour after issuing the statement, Lava shared another post on X saying, ‘This is only related to the Discord server, and not any other statements I’ve made regarding Ava Tyson.’
He included a post from June 24 where he stated that “the allegations involving my name are not true.”
DailyMail.com has contacted Lava regarding the allegations against Tyson.
Tyson is a childhood friend of MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, and collaborates with the content creator on his successful YouTube channel, which has earned Donaldson a net worth of $700 million.
The initial allegations against Tyson this week arose from interactions with Lava, then 13. The two allegedly met after the boy won an online competition.
Tyson, who has a son with his ex-wife, is said to have spent years communicating with Lava on public online forums and co-run a Discord server.
The Discord saga began when ‘Nathan’ posted two videos online, claiming that Tyson asked him and Lava to “clean up the server” so that “no one could see that (Tyson) was spamming corn to minors” (corn is used on social media platforms to refer to pornography).

Lava had previously refuted Nathan’s claims that the server was clean.
“This server then went public and became their official server,” Nathan explained.
The screenshots allegedly came from server logs, which were downloaded by a moderator at the time named ‘Cookie’.

In a post on X on June 24, Lava wrote: “We did not clean Discord of racist comments or pornography. What we did was turn Discord from private to public a day after it was made public.”
Then on Friday, Lava appeared to do a 180-degree turn on its statement. “Based on recent screenshots and messages, I would like to make a statement regarding ‘Discord,’” it shared, including a screenshot of the discussion to wipe the servers.

Then, on Friday, Lava appeared to do a 180-degree turn on his statement.
‘Based on recent screenshots and messages, I would like to make a statement regarding ‘Discord,”’ he shared.
‘This was 5 or 6 years ago and I thought I had a good recollection of the situation, but I was wrong. After reading the chat logs, I realized that this was inappropriate and wrong.
“I spoke from my recollection of the situation, and I still don’t remember those conversations, but they definitely happened.”
Nathan claimed that Tyson also exploited him, sending him sexual content on the server.
He also highlighted a screenshot purportedly sent to a moderator, which included a discussion about removing the “n-word” from the server.
Tyson had also been accused of racism this week after a series of racially insensitive posts emerged on social media.
In one post, Tyson appears to joke about police brutality and in another, the YouTuber calls Islam a “backward religion that hates everything different.”
The tweets from nearly a decade ago also included a video in which Tyson can be seen using the word n and justifying the racist slur by saying “but I’m not relevant.”
On Tuesday, Tyson said she would be stepping down from her role as host and co-host of the channel.

In a post on X that day, Tyson wrote: “I would like to apologize for any behavior or comments I have made in the past if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intention.”
“In light of recent events, we mutually decided that it would be best for me to permanently step away from everything related to MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health.”
MrBeast broke his silence on July 15, sharing a statement on X, saying that he immediately removed Ava Kris from the show, despite her previously saying that they mutually agreed that she should leave.
During that time, I have focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts.
That being said, I have seen enough content on the internet and have taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast. I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.
“I will give independent investigators the time they need to conduct a thorough investigation and will take further action based on their findings.”
