YouTube star MrBeast’s sidekick Chris Tyson has joined the latest social media trend by sharing ‘then and now’ photos of himself, months after the start of the hormone replacement therapy.
In a Twitter post on Monday, Tyson, 26, shared a photo of themselves in 2016 when The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild video game was released alongside a recent photo of themselves after the latest release of the Tears Of The Kingdom game from the franchise. Friday.

The two images each showed Tyson wearing a black t-shirt six years apart. The MrBeast sidekick – who appears on the YouTube channel with 153million subscribers – has undergone hormone treatment in recent months and says he now uses all pronouns.
The post marked the highly anticipated release of The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom on Nintendo last week, the successor to Breath Of The Wild which has sold some 30 million copies worldwide.

The YouTube star has around 300,000 Twitter followers and has been updating her fans regularly since she first opened up about her transformation.
Tyson was taking part in the latest Legend Of Zelda “then vs. now” trend and shared the footage by retweeting another account also documenting their change. The retweet was the latest in a string of tweets from users showing their changes.
Users responded to Tyson, telling the internet personality they had a “glow.”
“Chris, you look so cute and happy. I’m so thrilled for you and happy that you can do this. Congratulations baby,” another user posted.
“You look really amazing,” said another.
A fourth replied: ‘Yippee! Chris you are beautiful. Stay safe and stay hydrated. Keep killing.
Tyson revealed the news of his transformation in April. HRT is a process for those who wish to identify as gender non-conforming in which a sex hormone drug is administered to allow them to achieve a more traditionally masculine or feminine look.
People assigned male at birth are usually prescribed estrogen because it blocks testosterone and allows people to better align with their gender identity.
Tyson previously revealed how their physical appearance “has already started to change” after their first two months of treatment.
The star said they decided to start HRT two months ago and that parenting his two-year-old son Tucker helped him make his decision to start treatment.
Tyson has the child with Katie Tyson, whom he married in June 2018. It’s unclear what the exact status of their relationship is after the YouTuber announced his treatment.
Tyson originally came out as bisexual in November 2020. He credited his son with helping him through his treatment. The YouTuber tweeted: “If I didn’t have this little nugget I never would have gotten this far.
“He taught me so much about myself in such a short time. I look forward to lifelong learning together.
Tyson revealed he was going through HRT after a Twitter user shared side-by-side photos of him before and after therapy, while asking ‘bro wtf happened’.
