A controversial video game called Brexit Royale in which MPs and citizens fight to death in an apocalyptic post-Brexit Britain has caused anger among politicians.
In the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One game, contenders will both look for food supplies and fight to be the last.
Players can choose their avatar from a range of options, including politicians Boris Johnson, Theresa May and Michael Gove.
Other options include & # 39; crazy citizens who are thirsty for blood & # 39 ;.
Indy developer Wave Studios announced the free to play Brexit Royale at the Gamescon 2019 held in Cologne, Germany, from 20 to 24 August.
The game with the Brexit theme has received serious criticism after the tragic murder of Jo Cox, MP from West Yorkshire last year.

Controversial video game Brexit Royale in which MPs and British fight death to survive after an apocalyptic Brexit has caused anger among politicians
& # 39; After Jo Cox's death, seeing a game promoting violence against MPs from Brexit is dismal, & # 39; Croydon told MEP Sarah Jones to the star.
& # 39; Although we do not approve of violence against MPs in real life, we have seen so much interest in this game since the teasing & # 39 ;, said a Wave Studios spokesperson.
& # 39; (We) can only thank the politicians for making the concept of Brexit Royale game so realistic. & # 39;
& # 39; This is not specifically about civilians fighting politicians, it is a post-apocalyptic survival game with every man for himself. & # 39;
& # 39; Brexit has been a depressing, endless process that absolutely everyone is sick, so we wanted to have fun with the concept by turning it into a Battle Royale game. & # 39;
WHAT CHARACTERS CAN YOU CHOOSE?
Players can choose important politicians as their avatar – such as Boris Johnson, Theresa May and Michael Gove – or & # 39; crazy citizens & # 39 ;.
The game follows the Battle Royale format that has become popular through games such as Fortnite and PlayerUnknown & # 39; s Battlegrounds.
These combine the exploration and cleansing elements of survival games with a death match that remains last.
& # 39; We are confronted daily with the vision of our leaders in the grip of destructiveness, playing a realistic game of Battle Royale, with the aim of being the last man or woman to stand, because the UK feels a collective powerlessness , & # 39; said Wave Studios.
& # 39; No one has any idea how this mess can be solved – so we wanted to imagine a world where everyone takes matters into their own hands, by breathing in a little life in this very filthy situation. Everyone loves a Battle Royale. & # 39;

WHICH VEHICLES WILL APPEAR?
& # 39; In Brexit Royale, all bets are eliminated while chaos descends on the nation. All trade ties have been closed, the pound has fallen into a pointless currency, leaving the country in a state of crisis, & # 39; Wave Studios said.
& # 39; Because politicians are losing their grip, there is only one way to arrange things: the old-fashioned way. & # 39;
In line with Britain's separation from the EU, Brexit Royale is scheduled for launch on PS4 and Xbox One on October 31, 2019 – with a full gameplay trailer scheduled for release on September 3.
