The sister of a movie star faces charges for allegedly burning down her ex-boyfriend’s house, killing him and a friend.
New York City prosecutors say Aliya Fakhri, 43, sister of actress Nargis Fakhri, arrived at the front door of a two-story detached garage behind her ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs’ home around 6:20 a.m. on November 2nd.

He’s been trying to tell her to leave him alone for the past year, but she wasn’t taking the rejection.
“They separated a year ago,” he added.
Sad-e Jean Baptiste, 26, also told the Daily News that Fakhri had threatened to kill Jacobs before.
“She told a couple of people that the next time she sees him with another girl, ‘I swear I’ll set her on fire,'” she said.
But Jacobs’ mother insists that he and Ettienne were just friends.
