A newly leaked promotional video has given us our first look at the Moto G8 from Motorola, which appears to be the third entry in the G8 line-up behind the Moto G8 Play and Moto G8 Plus announced last month. The video, which was shared by remarkable leaker Evan Blass, shows a device with a triple reversing camera (including a main sensor of 48 megapixels) and a screen with a small drop-shaped notch at the top.
The Moto G8 is remarkable because in recent years it has been one of the G-series from the G-series that has found its way to the US. It is probably in the middle of the G8 line-up, between the G8 Plus and the G8 Play, which are not currently scheduled to come to the US. We really liked the Moto G7, our current choice for the best budget phone there is.
The promotional video offers no hints when the phone could be released. Now that Motorola is planning an event to unveil the collapsible return of the Motorola RAZR on November 13, there is a chance that the Moto G8 will be announced next door.
