Shocking moment motorcyclist is thrown into the air at Berowra Water after colliding head-on with ute on narrow road
Shocking footage has been released showing a sickening head-on collision on a narrow, winding road which sent a motorcyclist flying into the air.
The terrifying collision between the motorcycle and a ute happened near Berowra Waters in Sydney’s north at around 8.36am on Sunday October 8.
Dashcam footage recorded from a vehicle traveling behind the ute captured the crash on a secondary road between Berowra Heights and Berowra Waters.
As the driver of a white Ford Ranger approaches a sharp turn going up a hill, a motorcyclist heading in the opposite direction suddenly appears from the blind corner.
The ute then comes to an abrupt stop, its brake lights visible in the dashcam footage, as the motorcyclist momentarily disappears from view.
Moments later, the pilot is seen flying through the air and landing heavily on the side of the road following the nasty collision.
The motorcyclist’s motorcycle also collapsed on the side of the road.
The motorcyclist appeared unconscious and is seen lying face down in the road, wearing dark colored clothing and a white helmet.
Two male occupants of the vehicle, including the driver, exit the vehicle, visibly shaken by the incident.
The two men, accompanied by another woman wearing a dark green top and black pants, rush towards the rider, who remains motionless on the ground.
As the driver of a white Ford Ranger approaches a sharp bend going up a hill, a motorcyclist is suddenly seen coming out of the blind corner and coming in the other direction.
The rider reportedly suffered several fractures and a dislocated shoulder.
The driver checks the well-being of the motorcyclist.
He is then seen raising his arms in disbelief at the woman approaching the stage before the video cuts off.
Footage of the harrowing incident uploaded to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page was flooded with hundreds of comments from users.
“I hope the rider and driver recover quickly (injury and shock). Thank God the rider did not go overboard. one user wrote.
“I hope the runner makes a full recovery,” said another.
‘Ouch!’ wrote a third.
Others, however, said the motorcyclist needed to be more attentive when approaching the bend in the narrow road.

The motorcyclist did not appear to react and is seen lying face down in the road, wearing dark colored clothing and a white helmet.
“It seems to me that the motorcyclist had to be more careful, the car was sticking completely to the left, the motorcycle was not at all…” said one user.
“The cyclist learned his lesson the hard way,” wrote another.
“My old pal should be grateful he didn’t bounce the other way.” »
Daily Mail Australia has contacted NSW Police for comment.
