Sally revealed that she had been helping her daughter keep her secret because she “never liked” her son-in-law, Dave.
Grandma criticized Dave as “loud” and “full of himself” as she explained how Sophie began to resent her own husband and look for love elsewhere, while still having a ring on her finger.

Sally told The Sun: ‘Looking after my two beautiful grandchildren while my only daughter goes on a date is my favorite thing to do.
But Sophie will not have dinner with her husband, but will meet her secret lover. And I’m helping her cover her tracks.
The grandmother confessed that Sophie, who has been married to Dave for more than a decade, has been cheating on him for the past two years.
“I am absolutely delighted,” added the grandmother.
Sophie introduced her mother to Dave in 2013 and just two years later, the lovebirds were engaged.
However, Sally, who disliked Dave, revealed that she secretly hoped her daughter would “come to her senses” and not go through with the wedding.
But the couple ended up saying ‘I do’ at the altar and later welcomed two children.
After having children, their relationship suffered and Sophie was left to raise their children while Dave went on lavish golf trips.
