Mom reveals her thoughtful son, 9, spent two days painting a tired Wendy house for his two-year-old brother’s birthday – and Facebook users praise the ‘wonderful’ DIY project

A mother revealed how her nine-year-old son painted a Wendy house as a gift for his younger brother’s second birthday.
Proud mom Tesenai Bertram from Birmingham explained that she had bought a £ 15 playhouse from the Facebook market, but her eldest son didn’t like the pink color scheme.
Armed with £ 30 worth of paint, the nine-year-old spent two days painting the house in black and white.

She explained that she had bought a £ 15 playhouse from the Facebook marketplace, but her oldest son didn’t like the pink color scheme in the photo

Facebook users praised the ‘beautiful’ DIY project after Tesenai shared before and after Facebook’s DIY On A Budget UK.
In conversation with FEMAIL, Tesenai said: ‘We sanded it first and applied two layers of paint. My 9 year old son painted the whole thing I just helped with smaller areas. ‘
Tesenai spent £ 24.99 on Amazon exterior paint, showing that the playhouse only needed 1/4 of a 5-liter bin to achieve their desired appearance.
The mother completed the playhouse by adding laminate floors.

Tesenai revealed that they added laminate floors (photo) on the inside of the playhouse to complete the modern look
The project received a series of positive comments. One person wrote: ‘Wow, that’s great, I think a protective jacket is just a good idea to help with weathering anyway’
“This is wonderful, what a great job he has done and what a lovely brother you are.
“You don’t have to protect your car if it’s masonry paint, it has weather protection. I also like the car parked outside, ”said another.
