A young mother pleaded guilty to murdering her four-month-old baby in her home in Western Australia.
Cassandra Rose Doohan was 18 when her daughter Anastasia Hand did not respond to her partner while he was in the shower for 15 minutes in May.
The baby, who suffered catastrophic brain injury, was taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital and transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth, where she died two days later.

Doohan, now 20, formally made a non-guilty plea during her first appearance at the WA Supreme Court in September and was taken into pre-trial detention.
But she changed her plea to be guilty at a status conference on Thursday.
Doohan was first accused of serious physical injury to Anastasia, but her original indictment was then upgraded to murder.
The 20-year-old was asked by her partner to take care of Anastasia while he was in the shower for 15 minutes.
During a previous hearing, the court was told that doctors discovered that the child had suffered a catastrophic non-accidental injury to her brain.
Anastasia died on May 28, after two days in the hospital.

Seamus Rafferty, Doohan's lawyer, will advocate that his client receive a fixed prison sentence instead of a life sentence because her case & # 39; exceptional & # 39; is, ABC news reported.
A condemned life is usually the punishment for murder.
Doohan will be sentenced later this year.
Doohan initially pleaded not guilty to the murder of her daughter, but went on to plead guilty at the Supreme Court on Thursday
