A mother admitted that she killed her twin son and daughter at Christmas, but refused murder, a court said today.
Samantha Ford, 38, admitted manslaughter for reduced responsibility after her 23-month-old twins, Jake and Chloe Ford, as her husband Steven Ford viewed in court today.
The twins were found dead in their beds in the early hours of December 27.
Ford, 37, was involved in a collision with a truck at 2.50 a.m. on December 27, and when rescuers came to see her, she said they should check her home because her babies were there.

Ford, from Margate, appeared in court in a black suit and white shirt. She kept silent except that she confirmed her identity and entered her pleas.
She denied two graves of murder but offered two guilty pleas for manslaughter because of reduced responsibility.
Prosecutors will now decide whether her requests are acceptable.
Ford was taken into pre-trial detention and will then appear in court on 10 June to find out if her pleas are acceptable.
If the funds are not accepted, a provisional test date has been set on 24 June.
Prosecutor Edward Brown, QC, said the Public Prosecution Service had recently received a psychiatric report about Mrs. Ford.
He said: & We, the Prosecution, are meeting tomorrow to discuss the content and background of this case.
& # 39; Certain steps need to be taken and finally we are used to make the decision to be communicated with my learned friend's lawyers and of course against the court on Wednesday, June 5. & # 39;

Jake and Chloe were found dead at their mother's house in Margate, around 3:35 pm on December 27, but pathologists believe they died the day before.
