Desperate for a solution, the English teacher began fasting and was stunned to see how quickly she lost weight.

He initially began fasting in January 2023 and only drank bone broth three days a week. The other five days he followed a low-carbohydrate, high-protein diet.

‘I read a lot and changed my relationship with food. At times when I was hungry, it was difficult, but I knew there were benefits to be had.

‘It’s all about mind over body, you can choose to let your body’s cravings control you, or you can make the decision that will give you the results you want. Fortunately, my family is very health-conscious, so they have been very supportive.”
