Gwent coroner Caroline Saunders said, “Her partner was following her, but Georgina had already left the house in her Vauxhall Astra by the time he got out.”

Gwent coroner Caroline Saunders said, “There was a disagreement among those present at the party that caused Georgina to leave the house at around 10:20 pm, apparently without telling anyone she was leaving.

“Her partner followed her, but Georgina had already driven away from the house in her Opel Astra by the time he got out.”

During the judicial investigation, the police heard Mrs. Coombs’ trip plotted by eyewitnesses, camera surveillance and camera images.

The coroner said, “Georgina drove up the M4’s western lane, but she is driving in the wrong direction against the flow of traffic.

Georgina continued the M4 for 2.8 km. She passes several cars that get out of the way and flash their lights.

It seems that at some point Georgina tried to avoid oncoming traffic.

“It’s hard to understand why she didn’t realize her mistake and pulled on the shoulder.”

The coroner said Ms. Coombs of Cwmbran, South Wales, had been drinking “significant amounts of alcohol” before bumping into Jones’s black BMW on February 22 last year.

The coroner added, “Georgina had also used cocaine before her death.

“I believe Georgina was driving this dangerous and deadly way due to the high alcohol content.”

Her family said in a statement at the time: “Georgina was involved in a tragic accident in which two children were left behind and a huge hole in the family that is really broken.

“She will really be missed by everyone who knew her.”
