A mother of six has taken a look at her hectic schedule and the exact foods she eats after she lost more than half her body weight in 12 months.
Krechelle Carter, of Adelaide, South Australia, was unable to stand for more than 45 minutes after tipping the scales to her heaviest 140 pounds.
But the 30-year-old slimmed down to a size 12 to a size 20 after losing 75 pounds in a year by ditching processed foods, large portions, and late night snacks.
She went from walking just 1,500 steps a day to 40,000 steps and went from 3,000 calories a day to just 1,500 to 2,000.
‘It’s crazy where you can come in for a little over a year. I am so proud of myself. Consistency and belief in the system, ” Krechelle wrote on her Instagram.

What the typical day of Krechelle looks like on a plate
BREAKFAST: Omelette style sushi
MORNING SNACK: Pieces of apple and kabana
LUNCH: Protein shake and a banana
SNACK: A protein bar and a handful of cashew nuts
SUPPER: Come beef stew
WATER: Three to four liters of water
Her mornings begin with preparing her six children for school.
When her husband Dave leaves for work, she would ‘run around’ cleaning the house and putting on a load of laundry.
After dropping her kids off at school, she ran errands, checked her bills, ran the family’s grocery, and arranged everything for the next day.
Krechelle also devotes time to her freelance job as a writer.
Once that’s done, she’ll spend the next hour working out.
‘I lift 45 minutes to an hour. I normally choose one body part to focus on arms, legs or core,” she said.
After her shower, she prepared her children’s snacks, lunches, and dinner for the next day.
She returned to the school to pick up her children and then they would do their homework or go to school sports in the afternoon.
Her husband comes home from work at 5 p.m. and the family would sit down for dinner.
After that, she would go to work, where she is a sports match referee.
‘I take 30,000 to 40,000 steps in the evening. I can see the weight dropping rapidly now because of the extra steps, ”she said.

“ I would say what has worked for me is a combination of staying active (on my feet), a high-protein diet, heavy lifting, and resting when I get the chance, ” she said.
‘I also stay super hydrated, I probably drink three to four liters of water a day. Which is a bit too much if you don’t run around so much. ‘

Determined to put on her weight once and for all, the mother started her journey with walking and cutting out processed foods and snacking late at night
Krechelle – who was diagnosed with a chronic illness – said her weight had increased after months of bed rest, multiple surgeries, steroids and medication.
Determined to put on her weight once and for all, the mother started her journey with walking and cutting out processed foods and snacking late at night.
‘I started walking more each day, making sure I had two liters of water and me ate smaller portions with higher amounts of protein, ”she said.
‘I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t eat after 5 or 6 p.m. because eating in the evening was a bad habit and I wasn’t exactly reaching for the celery.
‘It was small changes every day. And I’m still making changes. ‘
She eventually enrolled in a gym and made healthy choices for her diet.
“I’ve worked hard in the gym … I don’t eat any kind of food, but I mainly eat high-protein, yogurt, meat and fruits and vegetables,” she said.
‘Normally I take a six to ten kilometer walk with the dogs. And do weights for 45 minutes when the kids are in bed. I am happy and I get it done.
The mother has regularly documented her weight loss on social media where she detailed her exact fitness and meal plans (pictured right six months into the weight loss journey)
Krechelle said she feels happier and healthier than ever as she now weighs just 65 pounds after her 75-pound weight loss.
“I’m not ashamed of where I’ve been, but I’m so damn glad I decided to work hard and end up where I am. I have four days until my birthday,” she said.
‘And last birthday I felt so uncomfortable I had to buy a new size 20 dress because none of me fit. This year I have plenty of options in a 12 to 14 and it feels fantastic. ‘
The mom said she has “many goals” planned to achieve over the next 12 months — and for the next 30 days, she’ll be walking and lifting weights daily.
And while she’s still eating healthier, Krechelle said she’s still treating herself.
“If I need a bagel or a Magnum ice cream, I’ll do it,” she said, adding, “I’m looking forward to achieving even more goals and maintaining my happy, healthy lifestyle.”
For her remarkable weight loss, Krechelle said she struggled with her day-to-day life.
“I couldn’t stand for more than 45 minutes without my feet getting swollen and out of breath,” she wrote in a June post.
But her turning point came when she wanted to “keep up with my kids.”
