A mother accused of pouring the feeding tube of her disabled baby begged for donations from members of the public.
Brooke Evelyn Lucas, 26, was arrested last Friday and accused of intending to kill or endanger her son William.
William has a congenital condition called Pierre Robin sequence and Lucas reportedly has attempted to poison her boy's days after celebrating his discharge from the hospital.
It now appears that Lucas asked $ 2,395 for donations from GoFundMe to allegedly cover the costs of going to and from the hospital.

We live an hour's drive from the hospital and it costs us more than $ 100 a week of fuel to visit for parking and meals in the hospital & # 39 ;, she wrote on the crowdfunding site.

Lucas posted on Facebook that it is a Christmas wonder & # 39; was when William was discharged from the Perth Children's Hospital, after an attack of what his mother said was bronchitis.
