A mother lay dead in a restaurant’s disabled toilet for three days before her body was discovered, her heartbroken daughter has claimed.
Jade Casey, 27, says her mother Sabrina Marlynn Lyttle, 47, was found dead at The Gurkha Buffet restaurant, hotel and bar in Blackpool, Lancs.
Sabrina’s mother, Christine, 68, and Jade say they’re not sure why she went to the bathroom, but they said no one at the restaurant noticed she was there for three days.
She says she now feels “heartbroken” knowing her mother was in the disabled bathroom while people were eating and drinking.
Jade said: ‘The police told us customers were complaining they couldn’t get into the bathroom, but they assumed something had happened to the lock.
“They then opened the disabled bathroom and found her on Saturday morning.
“I’m angry because they could have found her sooner, they should have done the usual checks in the bathroom.
“It’s heartbreaking because we know they left her alone and in the cold.

“We don’t know the cause of death yet, but there is a part of us that thought she might have been struggling and needed help and then she might have been saved.”
Jade said CCTV footage showed Sabrina, of Blackpool, Lancs, entering the restaurant on November 28 last year and entering the disabled toilet.
She said they are “not sure” why she decided to go to the restaurant, but police said there were no drugs at the location.
Jade said: “There were no drugs at the scene and CCTV footage showed her entering the building on Thursday.

“We’re really not sure, but there were no drugs at the scene.”
Jade, from Fleetwood, Lancs., also paid tribute to her mother, describing her as a “really nice person”, “funny and kind”.
