A new ultra-exclusive gym and lifestyle club has opened in New York.
Priced at $10,000 a month, Continuum is vying to be the most expensive gym in town.
And with a strict membership limit (only 250 people are allowed to join), it’s also one of the most exclusive.
CEO Jeff Halvey told the New York Post: “It is very different from everything that exists.”
Located at 676 Greenwich St, Continuum combines a luxury salon with a top-of-the-line fitness center with resident health and nutrition experts.

Halevy said: ‘Our unique value proposition that we have to remember is the integration of all of these modalities at a very high level.
“We are doing our homework for everyone, not only in developing the programming but also in selecting the actual experts who are going to work with them.”
Continuum says they only allow a maximum of 250 VIP members.
After joining, members undergo an “onboarding assessment” to assess their VO2 max, body composition, blood work, and sleep quality.
The “knowledge set” is then fed into an artificial intelligence system that a specialist uses to develop a personalized wellness plan.
They are then given wearable devices that track progress and the app updates recommendations in real time.
Halevy told The Post: “Exercise is just one lever in this preventative sphere of health and wellness.”
“All of our (coaches and physiotherapists) have master’s degrees or doctorates in their respective fields and also at least five years of relevant experience.”
After working out, members can relax with physical therapy and massages, as well as medi-spa treatments that include the use of hyperbaric chambers, cold dips, floats, and red light therapies.
Continuum is part of a growing trend of high-end, full-service health gyms.
Last month, Equinox launched a $40,000 annual membership designed to extend your life through personal training, nutrition plans, massage therapy, and even sleep training.
Equinox is partnering with lab testing startup Function Health to bring ‘Optimize by Equinox’ to market, making it one of the most expensive gym memberships in the world.
“It’s really a paradigm shift in how we can live with vitality and avoid suffering,” said Jonathan Swerdlin, co-founder of Function Health.

CEO Jeff Halvey told the New York Post: “It’s very different from anything out there.”
‘It’s about what’s above the surface, your abs and glutes, which you can see in the mirror and which are great. But it also deals with what lies beneath the surface and what cannot be seen in the mirror. And that’s revolutionary,” Swerdlin added.
‘Optimize by Equinox’ costs $3,000 a month for a minimum of six months, and when combined with the gym’s standard membership fee, brings the total to $40,000 or more.
The old Equinox memberships are already quite expensive. If you want access to all 107 Equinox clubs around the world, it will cost you $405 a month, or just under $5,000 a year.
The Optimize program begins with Function Health testing new members with 100 biomarkers: biological traits that indicate a possible risk for a disease.
The tests will measure members’ level of health in their heart, liver, kidneys and even try to detect cancer markers.
