Shopping for school supplies has long been seen as the nicest aspect of the school season – and now people of all ages can enjoy this fun way of working, thanks to a funky new makeup collection made by Moschino.
The brand, known for its garment clothing collaborations, has collaborated with Sephora & # 39; s in-hour brand Sephora Collection to launch a range of makeup products and tools designed to look the same as school supplies, from pencil-shaped brushes to whiteout nail polish.
Debuting on April 25, the limited edition collection – the second to be released as part of Moschino designer Jeremy Scott's ongoing collaboration with Sephora – will certainly inspire a wave of nostalgia among beauty lovers, especially those who remember for a while when number two pencils and pink erasers ruled supreme in their lockers.
Beauty school is in session! Moschino has started a make-up collaboration with Sephora, which is filled with products in the form of school supplies, including an eyeshadow palette from Macbook.
Arty: many of the products, priced from $ 8 to $ 60, are housed in classic cardboard packaging, including the marker pens (left) and eraser sponges (right)
Shine on: The highlighters, which cost $ 36, are named Control, Alt and Delete in accordance with the scholastic theme
However, there are products in the collection that appeal to the more technically skilled Sephora fans, including a 30-pan eyeshadow palette that is shaped just like an Apple Macbook computer.
The large silver palette, with a range of brightly colored shades in both matte and glossy finishes, is the most expensive product in the collection, ranging from $ 8 for a face mask to $ 60 for the laptop palette.
Other striking pieces in the line-up are three highlighter-shaped highlighter pens, all of which look like an old-fashioned neon marker, complete with a black plastic cap and a brightly colored housing.
Smooth: the cheapest product in the collection is a $ 8 face mask that has the shape of the brand logo
Even the names of the products in the $ 36 trio are in line with the theme: Control, Alt and Delete.
Sticking to the & # 39; s marking theme shapes, there is also a collection of five liquid lipsticks that look identical to the Mr. Sketch fruit-scented markers that many will remember from their days in middle and high school.
These products also have their own computer-themed monikers: Escape, Enter, Shift, Command and Power, and the $ 34 set includes a range of colors, from chic pink and red to vibrant purple and teal.
For those who prefer a cat-eye look, the marker eyeliner ($ 18) will undoubtedly be the most appealing product; the eye product looks unbelievably like a Sharpie, with a much finer nib to guarantee the utmost precision in application.
However, makeup is not the only thing that is included in the collection – there are also various tools that are meant to help you with your daily application, while also adding some fun scholastic flair to your beauty products.
The first is a collection of $ 58 with five brushes in the form of sharpened yellow pencils of different sizes, complete with bright red bristles that look like the & # 39; eraser & # 39; at the end of each brush.
Get it while you can: The collection will be launched on April 25 and will be a limited edition
In a row: instead of being housed in a more traditional all-black packaging, the liquid eyeliner looks just like a Sharpie marker, but luckily it has a much thinner nib.
Color crazy: Another product with a marker theme is the liquid lipstick, which is sold as a set of five colors, ranging from fun pink to a more out of control teal
Essentials: in addition to makeup, the collection includes brushes in the form of sharpened pencils and whiteout nail polish
If you prefer a sponge application for your makeup, never be afraid, because the collection also contains them in the form of a $ 20 three-pack filled with three pink applicators that look like classic Paper Mate erasers .
There are of course some people who are more inclined to pen when it comes to writing down their thoughts, in which case the $ 12 whiteout nail polish will undoubtedly serve as their error eraser of choice.
Sharing the news about the collection on his Instagram account, Moschino designer Jeremy could not contain his joy about the upcoming launch, writing: & # 39; I have super exciting news for my beauty fans … I have a new one makeup collection for Sephora! & # 39;
It was a busy month for Jeremy, who launched an earlier retro collaboration earlier this month: a clothing collection inspired by the Sims.
And while on paper the capsule collection may seem tame compared to some other brand partnerships, which include designs inspired by everything from Barbie to Spongebob Squarepants to TV dinners, the latest designs are the first to exist in real life and in virtual reality.
The collection officially debuted during the weekend at Coachella at Jeremy Scott & # 39; s Palm Springs Desert Party and consists of eight pieces, inspired by the long popular game with a pixelated design.

Grab it as long as you can! The collection was launched on April 13
Wild! New campaign images show real, living models against animated Sims backgrounds
IRL: although the designs are available for real customers to buy, they will also be available for Sims characters to wear in Sims 4, Sims Mobile and Sims FreePlay
Looks familiar! The green diamond that hangs above the heads of the characters pops up in a bathing suit and earrings
Also recognizable by fans is the Sims plumbob (the green diamond floating above their heads), a cover of the Freezer Bunny cell phone and a Uni Llama tee.
Although the designs are available for real customers to purchase, they will also be available for Sims characters to contribute Sims 4, Sims Mobile and Sims FreePlay.
& # 39;"I love the idea of imagining, designing and bringing to life a world of individual characters with the Sims universe," Scott said in a press release.
& # 39; That concept emulates what I have to do for each collection at Moschino, because I create a fantasy universe with spectacular storylines and characters. & # 39;
Prior to the launch, Moschino has already launched a campaign with real, live models that have been edited in animated Sims backgrounds.
As expected, some Sims fans are already quite excited about the designs.
& # 39; This Moschino x The Sims collaboration is what I've been waiting for all my life & # 39 ;, tweeted The Cut & # 39; s Fashion News writer Emilia Petrarca.
& # 39; The Sims work together with Moschino. I cry and need them all & # 39 ;, tweeted Teen Vogue & # 39; s Gabe Bergado.
