WB Games confirmed earlier this year that Mortal Kombat 12 will be the next project from NetherRealm Studios, and while we await the official unveiling of the game, the development team has begun teasing the project through its accounts on various social networking sites.
In celebration of the series’ 30th anniversary, developer NetheRealm Studios recently shared with us a video of appreciation messages to fans from a number of developers. The final message in the video is from Ed Boon, president of NetherRealm and Mortal Kombat, ending with him thanking fans for their 30 years of support and then concluding by saying “We’re not quite done yet.”
Nothing but appreciation for our fans over the past 30 years. We’re just getting started… pic.twitter.com/i8LzbGfISf
