Jim Harbaugh fulfilled a months-long promise Saturday by getting a tattoo of the Michigan logo and the team’s record from last season, 15-0.

On his right forearm, Harbaugh now has a block M, like the Wolverines’ logo, with the record digits underneath in black ink.

Harbaugh, a Michigan alumnus, led the Wolverines to their first national title since 1997. Last year he declared he would get a tattoo if his team accomplished the feat.

As the tattoo artist put the finishing touches on Harbaugh, he seemed disgusted with himself.

Weeks after leading Michigan to a national title, he left school to return to the NFL and be the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.

At the end of his tenure at Michigan, Harbaugh came under fire because the Wolverines were the center of multiple scandals at once.

Former team assistant Connor Stalions was implicated in a sign-stealing debacle, while Harbaugh had potential recruiting violations through the NCAA.

Harbaugh endured two separate three-game suspensions during his national championship season.

Now that he is employed within the NFL, he will not receive any discipline for those incidents.

Harbaugh will return to Los Angeles for the NFL Draft with his new ink. He has yet to say if the Chargers win the Super Bowl whether he will cover his other arm.
