A resurfaced video shows Morning Joe star Mika Brzezinski flirting with newly elected President Donald Trump and affectionately touching his hair before their relationship turned sour.
Brzezinski and her husband and co-host Joe Scarborough may be among Trump’s biggest critics right now, but the pair were big supporters of the Republican before he found success in politics.
Trump had a long and friendly relationship with the MSNBC pundits, as evidenced by a clip from one of his appearances long before he ran for president on March 12, 2010.
Social media users shared the clip as they mercilessly mocked the Morning Joe hosts for their ever-changing stance on Trump after revealing they visited the president-elect last week.

‘Watch your head. You’re very tall!’ she warned Trump before leading him to his seat while calling him “sir.”
Scarborough then asked Trump, “Isn’t Mika Brzezinski as beautiful today as the first time you came to our show in 2007 and embarrassed her?”
“I didn’t embarrass her,” Trump replied. “I thought she was very beautiful and I watched the show because of her beauty, not because of any politics or anything… Yes, she has become more beautiful.”

Scarborough then instructed Brzezinski to get up and go check Trump’s hair.
Brzezinski agreed and proceeded to lovingly fix Trump’s hair.
‘Does it feel good? Trump asked
“Yes,” she replied. ‘it’s all there.’
The pair have received backlash from both conservative and liberal media figures after revealing they traveled to Mar-a-Lago to resume “communication” with Trump.
Trump and the ‘Morning Joe’ stars have had a contentious relationship since the Republican entered politics – resulting in Scarborough leaving the Republican party.
During the 2024 election, Morning Joe repeatedly denounced Trump as a racist, sexist and fascist, telling viewers he did not deserve to be president. At one point, Scarborough said Trump was “acting completely against Hitler” and Brzezinski condemned him for repeating the “dangerous language of infamous fascist leaders.”
Trump was a regular contributor to Morning Joe, and Scarborough was an early cheerleader for the billionaire maverick for the Republican nomination in 2016, with CNN reporting that year that Scarborough’s cozy “friendship” with Trump was an “increasing source of discomfort at NBC . .’

In February 2016, leaked audio from an off-camera moment during a town hall shows how cozy the trio was, with Trump telling pundits that he likes how they portray him as “almost like a legendary figure.”
At another point, Trump told the MSNBC hosts to “make us all look good” and asked Brzezinski if “nothing too hard” could be asked.
Okay,” she replied, as reported by The Washington Post.
But relations soured when Trump won a surprise victory in the Republican primaries and began to look like a serious challenger to Democrats’ Hillary Clinton.
The four-hour morning show became a bastion of the Democratic establishment after Trump’s first term, with President Joe Biden routinely listening in as he did his morning exercises to watch his acolytes promote the party’s talking points.
Now that Trump is in the White House and Scarborough is engaged to co-host Brzezinski, he is beginning to cement his show’s identity as an outpost of opposition to the new administration.
The couple, who married in 2018, even recorded a Christmas album called “A Very Drumpf Christmas” of children’s songs featuring the president as Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
Liberals and conservatives have denounced the pair, with Kelly almost at a loss for words as they “did a 180” before finding a highly profane one.
It eventually caught the attention of the president himself, who issued a series of scathing criticisms, labeling Scarborough as “Psycho Joe” and his then-fiancée as “crazy Mika with a low IQ,” while mischievously claiming that she was “bleeding profusely from a facelift’ during a visit to his Mar-a-Lago estate.
Brzezinski later confirmed that she was recovering from cosmetic surgery during the trip.
And the feud intensified when the president revived long-debunked claims that Scarborough was involved in the death of his former congressional aide, who was found dead on his office floor in 2001.
An autopsy found that Lori Bolterstein Klausutis, 28, hit her head on a desk after collapsing from an undiagnosed heart valve irregularity, but Trump called for a new investigation into the matter.
The allegations earned Trump his first reprimand from Twitter, which would eventually kick him off the platform altogether in January 2021.
