Morgan Wallen is this year’s most nominated artist at the upcoming 2024 CMA Awards.
The 31-year-old has earned an impressive seven nominations at the Country Music Association Awards.
For the third year in a row, Wallen is nominated for both the top award (Artist of the Year) and the male vocalist category.
In second place are Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton, who each received five nominations.
Lainey Wilson and Post Malone also have four nominations. Malone’s nominations come from his collaboration with Wallen, I Had Some Help.

I Had Some Help has been nominated for single, song, musical event and music video of the year.
Louis Bell, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Hoskins, Jelly Roll and Kacey Musgraves are nominated for three awards.
Beyoncé, who released her full-length country album Country Carter this year, notably did not receive any nominations.
Earlier this year, the album reached No. 1 on Billboard’s country albums chart, making her the first black woman to top the chart since its inception in 1964.
The album was five years in the making and was the direct result of what Beyoncé called “an experience I had years ago where I didn’t feel welcome… and it was very clear that I wasn’t,” likely a reference to a performance at the 2016 CMAs that resulted in a racist backlash.
The CMA Awards are nominated and voted on by members of the Country Music Association, which includes music executives, artists, publicists, songwriters and other industry professionals.
Wallen is followed by Cody Johnson, who is also nominated in the male vocalist category for the third consecutive year, and seven-time male vocalist of the year winner Stapleton.
Stapleton and Johnson each have five nominations.

But Stapleton could take home seven trophies if he sweeps his categories.
Stapleton is an artist and producer of White Horse, nominated for Single of the Year, and Higher, nominated for Album of the Year.
At the Country Music Awards, production credits are not counted as separate nominations, although they are taken into account in the trophy count.
Post Malone, who was nominated for the first time, and Wilson, winner of last year’s artist award, are tied with four nominations. All of Malone’s nominations are for I Had Some Help.
Louis Bell, Charlie Handsome and Hoskins are tied with three nominations for their work as producers and co-writers on I Had Some Help.
First-time nominee Post Malone and last year’s entertainer of the year winner Wilson are tied with four nominations.

Jelly Roll, Combs, Kacey Musgraves and Megan Moroney also have three nominations each. The latter three could take home four trophies: Combs is an artist and producer on Fathers & Sons, which is nominated for album of the year. The same goes for Musgraves’ album, Deeper Well.
And Moroney is both the artist and director of her nominated music video, I’m Not Pretty.
The 2024 CMA Awards will air on November 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET. They will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
