Montana Brown has confirmed that she has given birth to her second child, a girl.

The former Love Island star, 29, who is already mum to 17-month-old Jude, welcomed a baby girl with fiancé Mark O’Connor.
The star was exploring the possibility of giving birth privately after criticizing her “inexperienced” NHS midwives, who she says “lack training”.
Montana said her NHS midwives advised her to give birth in hospital, but she insisted she wants to follow her head and heart and stay at home.
Montana claims the reason her midwives don’t recommend a home birth is because they haven’t been trained to deliver breech babies, and she said her private midwife is confident she will be able to deliver naturally. despite being breech.
In a TikTok video, she said: “Obviously we’re approaching D-Day and she’s still breech and for me my mindset is a home birth and it’s very difficult to find people who support a home birth, especially in my country “. position of having a breech baby.
‘Which has been really difficult because if you talk to midwives who are a bit older and have had training, they feel quite confident about delivering breech babies because, from what I’ve heard, it’s just a different way of vaginal delivery.
‘Yes, there are risks, but as with any birth, there are certain things to pay attention to and certain positions that are best to ensure the baby is born in a safe environment.
“The hospital I am at, which has been very supportive and given me many different options, is very against me giving birth at home and also if she continues in the same positions as before, which is breech , I have been fully advised not to give birth vaginally and have been given the option to book an elliptical machine (caesarean section).
“But a lot of the midwives who have had more training and have a lot of experience with vaginal births aren’t worried about me giving birth at home, so yes, there are a lot of conflicts.”

After giving birth, Montana said she and Mark were “over the moon” (pictured with Jude)

Montana was exploring giving birth in private after criticizing her “inexperienced” NHS midwives, who she said “lack training”.
She added: “Many hospital midwives have never had a vaginal breech birth, which obviously worries me.”
“But I can totally see that the hospital is cautious about giving birth vaginally and in the birthing center if there’s no time off without me, so we’re now diving into the private midwife route.
‘And I spoke to two amazing private midwives and they both feel very confident delivering breech babies.
“My partner and my mother think a little: ‘Can we go to the hospital? It seems safer” and my instincts and my heart are worried that I will be pigeonholed into making decisions on the day I try to stay really focused.
‘I worry about the day when I will be forced to make certain decisions or not be listened to as much out of fear and lack of experience rather than it being the right thing to do.
“And I’m not criticizing the midwives or the care I’m receiving, but I want all the decisions that are made that day to be based on facts and what’s going on physiologically in my body, rather than people not knowing certain things.” situations because of the situation.” lack of training.’
She captioned her post: ‘This is a birth update. I feel a little scrambled but my head and heart want a home birth and to listen to my body as much as possible #homebirth #motherhood
