Moms rejoice as $ 7.50 Fairy Easy Off spray that turns oven doors from dingy to shiny

REVEALED: The $ 7.50 ‘Miracle’ Oven Cleaner That Transforms Glass Doors From Grubby To Shiny – Without A Drop Of Toxic Chemicals

  • A mom turned her oven door from dingy to shiny with $ 7.50 dish spray
  • She sprayed the glass with Fairy ‘Easy Spray’ and then wiped it off with a soft sponge
  • She said the results left her ‘wordless’ and she will never use anything else
  • The spray seems to work just as well as heavy duty cleaners with strong fumes

Dishwashing liquid leaves oven doors with a sparkling shine just as bright as chemical cleaners that give off toxic fumes, one mom has revealed.

The woman posted to an Australian cleaning group on Facebook explaining how she covered her greasy glass with Fairy ‘Easy Spray’ while the oven was still warm, soaked it for 10 minutes, then wiped it off with a soft scratch sponge.

Photos prove that the stains are easy to remove, leaving the door crystal clear with just a few sprites of the $ 7.50 spray available at leading supermarkets such as Coles and Woolworths.

She said the results left her in words and vowed never to waste money on heavy-duty cleaning products again.

An Australian mom used $ 7.50 Fairy ‘Easy Spray’ to change her oven door glass from dingy (left) to shiny (right), without inhaling toxic fumes from cleaning chemicals

The photos have met with delighted responses since they were shared on Friday, with comments such as ‘that’s great’, ‘looks great’ and ‘I’m here on the hunt tomorrow’.

One woman revealed how she gets more out of the spray than her money is worth.

‘It’s quite expensive, so when my bottle is almost empty I put in a squirt of dish soap and a squirt of rinse aid, top it up with water and it seems to work the same. Cheap refills, ”she said.

It’s the latest kitchen cleaning hack to catch the eye on social media, following a mom’s remarkable restoration of a vintage oven to near-perfect condition with inexpensive supermarket sprays and a simple solution of lemon and baking soda

By posting anonymously to a community group on Facebook, the woman revealed that she inherited the oven from her partner’s grandmother and was determined to return it to its original glory before moving into their new home in October.

Photos illustrate the impressive result of her efforts, which have transformed the device’s filthy interior into a sparkling clean, usable state.

First, she swept $ 8.45 Oven Power cleaner over the filthy shelves and rubbed baking soda and lemon juice over the grease-stained glass – but her homemade mixture only lifted the first layer of the tarnish.

Undaunted, she sprayed $ 3.50 Easy-Off ‘Bam’ cleaner on the glass that removed ‘quite a bit’ of dirt.

As a result, the grease stuck to the roof of the oven and ‘a few stubborn spots’ on the walls and bottom that had not moved despite vigorous scrubbing.

Why Lemon And Baking Soda Are A Great DIY Cleaning Solution

However, lemon and baking soda have many benefits.

Lemon is a powerful antibacterial agent and its fresh citrus scent leaves a clean scent without the toxic fumes found in commercial cleaning products.

Baking soda is a drawing agent that removes stains and odors, and is also a natural grit that provides friction when scrubbing.

Together they form a powerful solution that is perfect for removing stains and killing germs in the kitchen and bathroom.

The mother said she hopes a third and final clean will bring the oven back to working order, and asked for advice on sanding away the remaining stains.

Many recommended dissolving a dishwasher tablet in warm water and scrubbing the solution in the oven with a damp cloth.

Other suggestions included the $ 8 all-purpose cleaner ‘Bar Keepers Friend’ and $ 3 Magic Eraser, a stain cleaner that has gained cult status in Australia in recent years.

Make a paste with Bar Keepers Friend and water. I heat the oven to 120 ° C for half an hour, then put the pasta on it and let it sit until the oven cools down, ‘one woman said. ‘A little scrubbing and everything comes off very easily. It is awesome!’

Another had three words to offer: “Hire a professional.”
