Kamala Harris attempted to imitate her election rival Donald Trump during a speech in Georgia on Friday.
Trump himself is no stranger to imitation, often criticizing the fragility of Harris’ boss, Joe Biden, and his speech patterns on the campaign trail.
Harris adopted Trump’s voice during her speech as she discussed his plans to protect and expand abortion rights and restrictions that she says could kill pregnant women.
“On the other hand… the other people, Trump and his running mate, will talk about: ‘Oh, I believe in the exception for the life of the mother,'” he proclaimed in a deep Trumpian voice.
He then sharply criticized Trump and his running mate JD Vance’s views on abortions, prompting enthusiastic applause from the partisan audience.

Harris, who is neck-and-neck in the race with Trump, has often drawn criticism from the press for eschewing relatable anecdotes and humor in favor of a bizarre “word salad.”
That seemed to be evident Thursday night during an interview with Oprah Winfrey on a fundraising livestream.
When a young couple in Pennsylvania talked about how their everyday expenses were still too high, Harris began by trying to empathize with them.
“His is a story I hear all over the country when I travel. That you have the right to have aspirations and dreams and ambitions for your family and to work hard and to find that the American dream is for this generation and, in recent times, much more illusory than it has been. And we have to face that,” he began.
Harris repeated her promise to investigate price gouging by food producers and offer tax credits for first-time homebuyers.
“Look, I grew up the son of a very hard-working mother, she raised me and my sister,” Harris continued.
Harris also launched into a circular soliloquy to close her appearance with Winfrey as she spoke about freedom and patriotism.
“We love our country. I love our country. I know we all do, that’s why we’re all here now. We love our country. We take pride in the privilege of being Americans, and this is a moment when we can and should come together as Americans, understanding that we have so much more in common than what separates us,” Harris said emphatically. “Let’s come together with the character that we’re so proud of, which is being an optimistic people.”
Harris, who is neck-and-neck in the race with Trump, has often drawn criticism from the press for eschewing relatable anecdotes and humor in favor of a bizarre “word salad.”
Despite receiving support from the current president and the Democratic Party, Harris has been ridiculed since taking over as vice president for a series of gaffes when addressing public issues in interviews, press conferences and even in statements.
One of Harris’ most confusing outbursts was bursting into laughter after uttering the line, “Do you think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” while giving a speech about equality and the advancement of Hispanic people.
He seemed to be trying to explain the need to focus on the broader community, adding that “nothing exists in isolation.”
After a clip of the speech went viral earlier this year, it became a popular internet meme that was widely circulated among his supporters, informally known as the “K-hive.”
Winfrey recreated her popular talk show for one night only to help Vice President Kamala Harris win the White House.
Winfrey kicked off the hour-and-a-half-long livestream by introducing a who’s who of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Bryan Cranston, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Jennifer Lopez, Tracee Ellis Ross, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep, who joined the call via Zoom.
