This is when a Trump supporter pulled a gun at Antifa protesters after his truck was smashed while a caravan was pulled past the main building in Salem.

Video-recorded protesters spraying paint over the truck’s windshield and smashing the rear lights before the driver steps out with a gun and directs it at anti-fascist protesters.

The driver, wearing an American flag sweater, was arrested almost immediately by police who ordered him to drop to the ground and release his weapon.

The tense moment was one of many clashes between left-wing anti-fascist protesters and right-wing protesters at the Oregon State Capitol grounds in Salem on Sunday.

The Statesman Journal reports that protesters, many with black masks and helmets and some with anti-fascist stickers, waited several hours for a caravan of a right-wing demonstration in Sandy, Oregon, expected to arrive at the Capitol.

The “Freedom” gathering was heralded as an event in honor of those who “fought for our freedoms.”

At least three people were arrested, including Andrew Alan Foy, 34, for second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal conduct, Nathan McFarland, 33, for second-degree disorderly conduct, and Anthony Villaneda, 18, for five-times laser targeting.

Salem Police closed Court Street over “ ongoing reports of criminal activity ” and announced through a loudspeaker that if people did not disperse immediately, they would use “ impact weapons, ammunition and tear gas ” against them and protesters could be arrested.

Earlier that day, at 2:30 PM, police tweeted that they were expecting 150-200 people to be ‘heavily armed’.

The risk of violence has increased as opponents are expected to arrive in large numbers. We have received reports that vehicles passing the capital are hit by balloons filled with paint and green lasers are being targeted at drivers. ‘

If (possible) avoid traveling (through) streets around the Capitol mall, ” the officials tweeted. Anyone who observes criminal behavior should immediately move to a safe location and call 911. ‘
