Pet owner Panya Bunhong, 25, said he opened the fridge door to get some food, but when he closed it, his clever puppy pushed it open again with his mouth before climbing in.

“Soju has always hated the heat,” he said. He felt the cold air when I opened the refrigerator.

“He then came to have a look and crept past my legs to climb in.”

Mr. Bunhong’s 27-year-old girlfriend Wichuta Chain said it was not the first time the puppy climbed into the fridge and that he often waited patiently for someone to open the fridge door.

She said, “Soju did that to me once too. It was a hot afternoon and he couldn’t stand the heat, so he waited for me to come to the kitchen and open the fridge. He was so patient. ‘

The puppy – much to his horror – was taken out of the fridge after a few minutes and had to go to the bedroom to cool off in front of an electric fan.

According to forecasters, the temperature of 107 degrees Fahrenheit was the hottest in Thailand this year as the summer season officially started this month and is expected to last until the beginning of June.
