Donald Trump shared details of his belief in aliens as he recalled an incredible encounter in the Oval Office during an interview on Fox News’ Gutfeld.

The former president appeared on Fox News on Wednesday as he recalled interviews with experienced Air Force pilots who recounted their encounter with an unknown “round object.”

The 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate said he did not consider himself a “believer” in aliens until several Air Force pilots revealed they had “seen things they can’t explain.”

Trump went on to detail the pilots, saying they seem “better than Tom Cruise,” the famous actor known for his roles as expert aviators. He insisted on the credibility of the story by stating that the “three or four” pilots who were in his Oval Office “are not people who make up stories.”

The 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate said he did not consider himself a “believer” in aliens until several Air Force pilots told him they had “seen things they couldn’t explain.”

The pilots, dubbed “short-haired blonds,” as the former president called them, told him about a “round object that was going four times faster” than their F-22 jets, which Trump explained was “a very fast plane.”

Radio and TV host Dana Loesch, 45, continued the conversation, pairing Trump’s Fox interview with a brief clip of herself recalling a meeting of her own with former CIA Director Mike Pompeo.

Loesch said the first question she asked Pompeo when he appeared on her show was about any information about alleged aliens, to which he immediately deflected.

“He laughed,” the radio host said of Pompeo’s response to her question, adding, “Well, people said they saw things and anyway, on to the next topic,” Loesch explained.

She was surprised by the former director’s quick response, who insisted that her reluctance to answer confirmed the existence of extraterrestrial beings.

Loesch said: ‘That’s the way to tell me there are aliens, if you can’t tell me (directly) that there are aliens.

“That’s what someone who knows there are aliens but can’t tell me about them would say,” he continued.

Following the interview, the radio show host posted her edited clip on ‘X’, formerly Twitter, to which viewers flooded her with comments.

One user commented: “These pilots have no clue. This is small potatoes compared to what’s actually out there.”

Another said: “At this point I would trust aliens more than our current government.”

With another sharing a link to a CNN Post regarding UFO footage released by the Pentagon, commenting: ‘It was at the beginning of the pandemic, so no one really paid much attention to it.’

Trump’s alleged disbelief in aliens has stood the test of time having appeared on another famous podcast, Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’, in June.

Trump spent minutes discussing the possibility of life beyond Earth and whether unidentified anomalous phenomena could in fact be extraterrestrial.

“Am I a believer? No, I probably can’t say I am,” Trump said in the episode.

“But I have met serious people who say they see really strange things flying around.”

UAPs have become a hot topic in Congress over the past year, with a small group of bipartisan House members questioning the military over claims it could be hiding evidence of extraterrestrial activity or ultra-futuristic technology.

Trump said he spent a lot of time investigating these phenomena when he was president and that he does not believe government agencies are withholding information from the public.
