This is when a criminal Nissan driver rams into an unmarked police car during a high-speed chase, leaving two officers injured.
Footage shows the 4×4 driver speeding backwards in the early hours of today and crashing into the front of the police vehicle in Lea Village, Birmingham.
Smoke can be seen from the wrecked engine as it is driven back several meters before the suspect drives off at high speed down the street at 1 a.m.
Two officers then jump out of the car while the driver escapes across the residential road with flashing hazard lights.

The video, obtained by Birmz Is Grime, has been shared and viewed thousands of times since uploading to social media.
One person commented, “It looks like something from Grand Theft Auto. That’s just a crazy man.’
West Midlands Police have confirmed that two officers were injured when a Nissan Qashqai rammed into their police car during a chase.
A police spokesman said: ‘We are urging witnesses to come forward after two officers were injured in a chase in Birmingham’s Shard End at around 12:30pm (29/7) this morning.
A patrol unit chased a blue Nissan Qashqai on Wychbold Crescent after it failed to stop.
During the chase, the driver of the Qashqai deliberately rammed the police car several times, causing him to drive away.

The driver saw him flee. West Midlands Police have confirmed that two officers were injured when a Nissan Qashqai drove into their police car during a chase
“The two officers sustained whiplash injuries and the Qashqai, which was on cloned plates, was a short distance away.”
They added: “We are here to help and support our communities and are urging witnesses and anyone with information about the driver to contact us.
