A Mercedes driver was caught on camera pointing a gun at an unsuspecting motorist during a road rage incident in an “exclusive” neighborhood.

Paul Slane, 63, is also accused of assaulting the victim’s female passenger and taking her cell phone during the road rage attack in the “upscale” Heatherwood neighborhood of Port St. Lucie, Florida, on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. according to the Miami Herald.

A subsequent investigation found that Slane apparently followed the victims into the gated community and taunted the other driver before pointing his gun at the driver and his passenger.

But the victim also had a gun and asked, “Should I shoot him?” video obtained by WFLA programs.

“The suspect in the black Mercedes, for some reason, was constantly checking them out,” Sgt. Dominick Mesiti told the news station.

‘He was intentionally braking… for no reason other than to shake up the vehicle behind him or the driver behind him.’

Slane then allegedly drove his Mercedes around the victims’ truck and then stopped in front of them on the road.

At that point, Slane was caught talking on the phone with the victim as he got out of his car and approached the driver with his gun raised.

The suspect then began arguing with the other driver over who started the fight and put his hand through the window while demanding his passenger give him her phone.

“Get out of the fucking car right now!” Slane can be heard yelling in the video.

“You’re going to get arrested, you know that,” one of the victims was heard telling Slane, who proceeded to return to his vehicle.

As he drives away, the driver can be heard saying, “We’re confirming that your vehicle is also totaled.”

Slane was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery with a firearm and two counts of simple assault.
