This is the touching moment when a group of Scottish lads serenade a complete stranger on the train with a birthday song.
The pensioner, who sadly recently lost her husband, beamed as the group broke out into a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ in her honour.

But that didn’t seem to stop them as they started singing the song.
Cathy, from Scotland, was delighted when a group of strangers serenaded her on the train.
Cathy’s family was stunned by the touching gesture and the camera showed a woman covering her mouth in laughter.
Cathy herself seemed eager to enjoy the moment and opened her arms as she was enchanted by the singing.
The boys continued singing as the camera moved, pointing at Cathy and shouting their well wishes before saying three cheers.
The clip came to an end as Cathy was left smiling from ear to ear and applauding the spontaneous efforts of the male choir.
The video was shared online on Saturday with the caption: “Can anyone thank these young people on the train to Edinburgh today?
‘It’s my aunt’s 78th birthday and she has had a lot to deal with caring for her husband, who passed away early last month.
“These guys made our day, happy birthday Cathy.”
And Leanne Tervit, who was with Cathy, said: ‘These young people didn’t need to be asked twice and were more than happy to put a smile on our faces. I love it.
The group – Sam Michie, Liam Nelson, Liam Chrystal, Kian Byers and Kyle Connor – sang Happy Birthday to Cathy as the train approached Edinburgh.
Those with Cathy also applauded the boys’ singing, as they ended with three hip hip cheers.
“Young people have a hard time and these guys were lovely.”
The video received more than 7,700 likes and more than 600 comments from Scots who were moved by the video.
Sam, one of the boys in the video, commented: ‘This was me and my friends. Happy birthday, Cathy. Incredible woman.’
Another added: “Oh brilliant guys, well done.”
A third replied: “Happy birthday Cathy.”
Another replied: “Brilliant and well done guys, probably made his day.”
