A 16-year-old boy is facing a mammoth 75 charges for an alleged citywide crime spree he documented on social media.
Such was the scope and scale of the alleged crimes that four specialist police units and a helicopter were used to locate the teenager.
The teenager was eventually arrested in the south-west Brisbane suburb of Inala on Thursday after Queensland officers searched several properties in the area.

Police allege the boy committed a series of property thefts and stolen vehicles in Brisbane’s eastern, western and inner-city suburbs over recent months.
The charges against him include dwelling and commission, breaking and entering, unlawful possession of a motor vehicle (posting on social media), attempting to enter a dwelling and commission, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, theft and attempting to enter a property with intention.
Deputy Commissioner for Youth Crime Andrew Massingham congratulated the units involved in the search for the suspect.
“The co-ordinated response to these prolific property crimes is commendable and is a reflection of the determination of officers who work hard to hold young offenders to account,” Deputy Commissioner Massingham said.
“We want the community to know that police are listening and taking proactive steps to arrest serious offenders who put the safety of the community at risk.”
The boy has been remanded in custody following a court appearance and will face court proceedings on February 29.
On Friday, the teenager appeared in Brisbane Youth Court on February 16, where the session was adjourned.
