Shocking video captured the moment a woman fled an apartment in Brazil after a lawyer who hired her to do domestic services allegedly raped her and threatened to kill her.
Jefferson Moura was arrested at the home on Wednesday after the victim reported the attack to police in the northeastern state of Piauí.
The never-before-seen footage showed the victim walking behind Moura in the condominium’s parking lot and through a stairway entrance.
A second camera showed the woman walking back and forth on the apartment terrace hours later.
Although the released footage does not show her jumping from the balcony to the parking lot, a security camera captured the distraught woman walking through the parking lot and past a male person before seeking help.
Jefferson Moura, a lawyer from Piauí, Brazil, was arrested in his hometown on Wednesday after allegedly raping a woman he hired to clean his apartment. Police investigator Vilma Alves confirmed to digital news channel G1 that Moura had contacted the woman to clean his apartment.
Her testimony revealed that she became suspicious that Moura was lying to her after she claimed he was married because of the amount of women’s clothing and new and used condoms lying around in a room she was cleaning.
Moura went on to grab the woman and sexually assault her. Police testimonies revealed that Moura threatened to kill the cleaning lady by shooting her.
After the attack, the woman noticed that Moura was reading a book and pretended to clean the apartment. Then she walked to the balcony and fled.
Piauí military police said officers detained Moura while he was with another woman, who also performed cleaning services. He is being held without bail in the regional prison of Irmão Guido.

As many as four women have come forward in recent days to accuse Moura of sexual assault, including a therapist who met him last Tuesday, the day before he allegedly raped the woman.
According to G1, the therapist, whose name has been withheld, said Moura masturbated on her while she was treating him in 2018.
“I asked if he was okay and he replied that he felt horny. So I said it was his personal reaction and I had nothing to do with it,” she recalls.
The woman claimed that during last week’s visit to Moura’s apartment, ‘the lawyer under the mask called me hot and when I said I couldn’t go on with therapy like this. He congratulated me, said I was very professional and tried to give me a hug, but I refused and left.’
She added that at least two of her friends have been sexually assaulted by Moura, but they have not yet reported it to the police.

Moura had previously been arrested for allegedly murdering Brazilian Army Corporal Arione de Moura Lima on April 25, 2010.
Moura shot the then 23-year-old soldier outside the victim’s home in the town of Piauí, Picos.
At the time of the murder, Amarildo Lima told the online news outlet Riachao Net that Moura had been involved in a series of altercations with his son and that he shot him as a form of revenge.
Moura was never charged or tried for the murder of the Moura Lima.
