Megan Milan was visiting Chia Lai Orchid, an elephant rescue center in Chiang Mai, Thailand, earlier in June when a three-week-old elephant looked at her.

Megan Milan was visiting Chia Lai Orchid, an elephant rescue center in Chiang Mai, Thailand, earlier in June when a three-week-old elephant pulled her skirt down.
The baby sparkled at Megan as she was taking pictures with the herd. Soon they tumbled to the ground together
In the footage, Megan, who was not alarmed, can be heard laughing as the baby elephant repeatedly approaches her and playfully tugs at her skirt.
But the youngster was stronger than he looked and managed to Megan’s skirt off by stepping on the hem.
The model then fell over and struggled to get her skirt up to cover her modesty as the elephant returned for more playtime.
Finally, the animal’s older sister came running to pull the playful nelly away while Megan gathered herself and her tattered skirt.
Megan said she always wanted to go to Thailand and took the opportunity to meet the elephants
The baby stomped on the model’s skirt to the left, forcing Megan to walk away. He chased her later and continued to playfully tug at her skirt
The other elephants watched as the three-week-old baby played playfully rough with model Megan
Megan said, ‘I’m used to being around elephants, but I’d never been around such a young elephant, he’s only three weeks old. So I asked to go see him.
“He was definitely a bit heavy and strong.
“I’m known for immersing myself in other cultures and having wild adventures. Whether hanging on a train in Sri Lanka or playing with baby elephants in Thailand, I’m always up for a thrill.
“When I’m not modeling or reading scripts, I travel the world for a living. I’ve always wanted to go to Thailand.
Despite the practical approach to the elephant, Megan was not afraid for her life and laughed during the incident
“I found a non-profit organization, Daughters Rising Thailand, that empowers underprivileged girls and women to rescue indigenous girls and women through education, employment and outreach to prevent human trafficking and exploitation in their communities.
“Combined with the rescued elephants in Chai Lai, these are two things I have a huge passion for, so of course I jumped at the opportunity.”
The model discovered the funny side of her story when she shared the elephant’s video on her Twitter and joked that the animal’s big sister had to come and get the baby off her back.
When people expressed concern that the elephant was being violent, Megan defended the animal, saying, “He is literally 3 weeks. Elephants don’t just walk around hurting people. They are one of the few animals with empathy. That lady helped his fam get poached! Elephants don’t forget.’
