Local media reported that Khatira was playing on the balcony of a first-floor apartment when the toddler slipped through the railings.

Surprised, Ruhi said, “At first I thought a flower pot had fallen on me. When I turned around I realized it was a child.

“They rolled off my back and hit the ground. Some blood came from their mouths and teeth.’

Asci added: “The ambulance arrived at the scene and they were taken to the hospital with their mother.”

Khatira was rushed to Amasya University Sabuncuoglu Serefeddin Education and Research Hospital for further medical care.

According to reports, the child was hospitalized in stable condition in the company of their mother.

It is not clear whether the local authorities are investigating the incident.
