A seven-month-old baby was shot and left bleeding after a gunman opened fire on his parents and they fled.
The boy was being pushed in a stroller by his parents on Meridian Street in Holmesburg, Philadelphia, at 5.51pm on Thursday.
CCTV footage showed a woman suddenly approaching them, shooting at the couple and then walking away after one of the bullets hit the baby in the leg.
The child’s father immediately ran away when the shooter fired two shots in his direction, while the mother stayed with the baby in the stroller.

The gunwoman walked past the mother and child, then casually turned around and fired at the mother at point-blank range.
The mother let out a bloodcurdling scream, crying, “my baby,” to which the shooter cruelly responded, “Fuck your baby, you b***h,” and walked away.
Police said when they arrived at the scene neither of the parents were there and the baby was rushed to the hospital by a neighbor.
Neither parent was injured and it is believed they left because there were warrants out for their arrest and they were not found until an hour later.
Police later arrested the father and both parents are being questioned. They do not live in Holmesburg and it was not clear why they were there.
Police are searching for the female shooter, who was caught on camera but has not yet been identified. Investigators do not yet know a motive for the shooting.

The neighbour who came to the baby’s aid described how the mother handed him the child and he drove her to Nazareth Hospital.
“When I found out the baby was seven months old and both parents said they had warrants out for their arrest, they got out of the car and I took the baby,” she told NBC.
“I felt like I had to protect that child. It was overwhelming. It was scary. That person walked up and didn’t care, didn’t feel any remorse, and just shot and walked away like nothing happened.”
Police later transferred the baby to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Chief Inspector Scott Small said police found two bullet casings from a semi-automatic weapon.
“You can see what appears to be a man, possibly a woman, with long hair, possibly dreadlocks, wearing a dark t-shirt and light blue jeans and he fires one shot in the direction of the mother and father,” he said of the footage of the shooting.
