This is the moment an adult woman allegedly “punched and kicked” a 13-year-old schoolgirl in a lined up bus while listening to music on her phone.

The footage, which surfaced on Tuesday, shows the couple arguing before the adult lunges at the teen, appearing to bash her head against the window in the process.

It is claimed it happened after the woman demanded the teenager turn down the music playing on her phone as she traveled home from school in Ealing, west London.

The incident, which was reported to police on February 3, took place in front of shocked passengers on the X140 bus on Church Road, Northolt, who can be heard gasping as the woman confronts the girl.

The Metropolitan Police say they are investigating what happened and are looking for the woman, who is believed to be between 20 and 30 years old.

The footage opens with a woman (right) yelling at a teenage girl (left) after a fight over the 13-year-old girl playing music on her phone.

The person behind the camera can be heard gasping in shock, while the woman, holding the girl in her hands, yells: ‘Do you understand? Turn that shit off!

A spokesman for the Met said the victim had turned down the volume of her music but not completely turned it off before the incident.

They added: ‘At 4:24pm on 3 February, police received a report of an assault on a school girl on a bus on the X140 route in Church Road, Northolt.

The victim, a 13-year-old girl, was riding the bus home from school when the suspect, a 20-30-year-old female, approached her and told her to turn down the music.

‘The victim complied with the request by lowering the volume but not turning it off completely. The suspect then assaulted the boy, at which point the bus driver went upstairs and ordered the victim off the bus.

“Investigations are underway to identify the suspect. Anyone who witnessed this incident, has footage or can identify the suspect is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting 5183/3FEB.
