Mom wows with her incredible meal prep session for a family of six

A busy mom has shown her very full fridge after a busy day preparing meals for a family of six.

Krystal Howard revealed that she and her husband prepared the meal on Saturday and Tuesday evenings with the huge pile of food that lasted just three days in her busy home.

Ms. Howard said her husband does all the cooking because she works until 8pm but plans meals together and she does the shopping.

She said she also puts the food in their containers and uses “some sort of Tetris magic” to stack them all in the fridge.

In their most recent attempt at taking care of themselves, their children, and Krystal’s parents, the family refrigerator looked like it was going to burst in an instant.

“I usually make three or four meals for three days, but sometimes I have extra,” she said.

This time, the Howard family chose oatmeal, berries and almonds for their breakfast – preparing three different meals.

These include a meal of cowboy caviar, flour tortillas, and chicken and lime drumstick.

Anther with a spring roll bowl of ground bison, boiled egg and broccoli and the final meal, usually served as dinner, consisted of a pork tenderloin, shrimp, nann bread, romaine lettuce and chicken pesto salad.

And her efforts were certainly noticed by people on the foodie Facebook group where she posted her latest meal ideas.

“I’m not sure how I came across this greatness, but I love it,” said one woman.

Another admitted she would stalk the woman’s Facebook for meal ideas in the future.

“It’s mouth-watering, honestly, some happy family members,” said another, who also praised everyone’s “helping” to prepare the meal.

Krystal previously took photos of her perfectly portioned meals and shared them on Facebook on Wednesday, inspiring others to give food planning a try to save money and time.

“So I’m trying to get my family of four to eat healthier,” she captioned her post.

‘My parents were happy to cooperate, so I have prepared grab-and-go meals for them too.’

For lunch, her family treated themselves to even fancier options, with salmon, roast potatoes, and broccoli sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

On a separate day, they got to enjoy sausage, squash, bacon, and Brussels sprouts, with a lean bison taco salad to round out the list.

“I added some leftover rotisserie chicken for my husband because he doesn’t eat fish,” she added.

It wasn’t long before other parents congratulated Krystal on her ingenious foresight, calling the dishes “amazing” and “jealousy-provoking.”

“Omg can I join your family. I hate preparing meals, but have to start with it,” one woman responded to the series of comments.

“Wow, you could ask for a service like this,” said another.

A third added: ‘How do you even mentally prepare for food preparation? I’ve been trying for a long time and I just can’t bring it up. I am the first mother of a 17 month old boy and I am pregnant with my second child and it is difficult to even process this.”

Each of the meals was distributed in black plastic containers so that wet and dry products were separated and thus had a longer shelf life in the freezer.

While it won’t take up a full week of food, it certainly helps to organize each of the family members to some degree, making each day easier to manage.
