An Australian mother of two has revealed a simple trick to remove ink stains from clothing and fabrics.
Carolina, from Perth, shared a video with her 600,000 TikTok followers using three common household products.
She claims the ‘best way’ to remove ink is to rub hand sanitizer over the stain first, then wash on a hot cycle with half a cup of baking soda in the barrel and vinegar in the rinse cycle.

For the demonstration, Carolina purposely wrote ‘hello’ on the front of a white T-shirt, then applied a generous amount of hand sanitizer over the ink and scrubbed the gel into the fabric with an electric toothbrush

The alcohol in the hand sanitizer is thought to easily lift the ink, and combining it with the natural products is the best combination.
Baking soda and vinegar are often used together to kill unwanted bacteria from laundry.
