A mother has revealed that her husband does not want her to kiss her son on the forehead or cheek after he turns two because it will “weaken” him.
The anonymous mother took to Reddit to explain that her spouse is furious over the fact that she kisses their one-year-old son’s face.

She explained: ‘He says it will make him weak and not “man” enough. I think that sounds very sad for our son and that physical affection is important. Am I the idiot for saying no?
The mother added more context to the post, explaining that her husband grew up outside the United States.
