A Las Vegas woman was found dead inside a luggage bag near an apartment complex last week.
Kristen Avelar, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene after Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to a call of a possible deceased person near Spencer Street and East Reno Avenue.
Now, police are asking the public for help.
Authorities received the information shortly after 4 a.m. Thursday after an individual saw a dead person inside a bag. The mirror reported.

After officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman’s body inside a luggage bag that was near an apartment complex and identified the woman as 46-year-old Avelar.
Medical personnel attended and later confirmed that she was dead at the scene.
“Due to the suspicious nature of his death, the LVMPD Homicide Section responded and took over the investigation,” police said in a statement. press release.
Police also provided a compilation of photographs of Avelar in a YouTube video linked to the news release.
In information from her social networks, it appears that Avelar is a divorced mother of three children.
