UFC sensation Molly McCann shows off the lavish £40,000 Rolex bought for her by Drake after breaking his dreaded betting curse… as she recalls fearing it would cost the musician MILLIONS if she lost her fight before to help the rapper pocket £1.2m
MMA star Molly McCann showed off the glittering Rolex watch Drake bought for her after she ended her betting curse and won her £1.2million.
“Meatball,” who has been making waves in the octagon since joining the UFC in 2018, proudly sported her lavish watch during a recent visit to Capital FM Studios, where she chatted with presenter Roman Kemp about the story behind the success.
In September, four-time Grammy winner Drake gifted a Rolex to McCann and fellow countryman Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett after winning £3.1million after betting on the talented duo to win their respective bouts at UFC London.
One of the world’s most recognizable entertainers, Drake took it upon himself to personally congratulate McCann with the gift after his triumph.
McCann and Pimblett formed a double bet for Drake, who bet £1.9million on the pair. The former produced a stunning TKO of Hannah Goldy courtesy of a spinning elbow, while the latter submitted Jordan Leavitt in the second round of their clash.

And naturally, the 33-year-old sported the watch when he was a guest on Kemp’s show, with the wanted item quickly becoming the main topic of conversation.
The watch, a Rolex Daytona, is worth around £40,000.
Hilariously, McCann admitted to feeling nervous ahead of her fight, with the nervousness worsening after finding out that Drake – and his famous curse – had clustered on her.
Before turning his streak after confiding McCann, Drake’s breathtaking punts on a multitude of athletes and teams ended in humiliation more often than not.
And clearly, McCann was aware of the musician’s reputation as a horror gamble.
“Imagine waking up…you already have nerves,” she said. ‘A sold out crowd [is] come watch and then the drake curse is on you because everyone [he’s] always bet on had ended up losing.
McCann revealed his girlfriend told him that Drake placed millions on her to win.

“I don’t think about losing, but at that moment I thought, ‘What if at that moment I lost it two and a half million there,'” she recalled.
Fresh off their victories, McCann and Pimblett then cheekily decided to each ask Drake for a Rolex, after recently watching YouTube videos about the watches.
They also asked for the most expensive watches they could think of.
However, rapper Drake proved he was a man of his word and took to Instagram to write: ‘Rollies for Meatball and the Villain. Secured the W and the rollie.’
Last year, McCann posed with the gold Rolex as she walked past the Liver Building in Liverpool and thanked Drake. Likewise, Pimblett also sought to show off his watch.
