Molly-Mae explained: “The other day I was having a moment of reflection about my filler journey and I realized that I haven’t had filler in the last five years, over four years.
“I haven’t had any filler put in my face, which, if you think back to my filler debacle, my filler scandal, is not a huge accomplishment, but it’s quite a journey to reflect on.” It’s been so long.’

Posting a video to her YouTube channel in October 2020 documenting her journey, Molly-Mae explained that she had been getting filler since she was 18 (left in 2019, right in 2021).
The influencer continued: ‘It was horrible. It was absolutely horrendous. My face was literally horrible. That was the moment for me too when I thought: I think things need to change.
‘I thought: one day my lips will dissolve. It was a process. I went and had my lips dissolved and posted it on YouTube and wasn’t expecting the response I got. It was huge.’
She explained: ‘At the time I started reversing my image and dissolving the filling and dissolving my lips, I actually had a full set of composite on my teeth, they took them off too.
“I literally took it to the extreme and just stripped naked and strangely felt prettier than ever once it was all gone.
“I feel like I was about five years off my age and it was like it was a really significant moment for me.
‘I didn’t realize how much respect that would give me. I didn’t do it out of respect, I did it for myself. I didn’t do it for anyone else, I did it because I knew I needed it.’
Molly-Mae recently took to her Instagram Stories to show off her transformation as she shared a photo of herself taken at London’s Winter Wonderland in 2019.
She followed up with a photo taken at this year’s holiday event after having her fillers dissolved.
‘It’s time for me to age two years…’, she wrote next to the first photo where she appears wrapped in a brown wool jacket while enjoying a box of Churros.
