Her father is busy getting the country back in shape after the ravages of the pandemic.
Now Boris Johnson’s daughter Lara has shown how plus size women can get in shape with the help of special underwear.
The Prime Minister’s eldest child, 28, modeled a selection of shapewear to empower women to feel “safe” in their clothes. The underwear closes or tapers at the waist to emphasize the curves.
Writer and presenter Lara posed in chic attire for the September issue of Tatler magazine.

In one black and white photo, she is shown with windblown hair and dark shapewear under a sheer white dress.
She admitted: ‘I’m not a total newbie to shapewear – I panicked and bought the odd piece to match an outfit – but clearly I still have a lot to learn.’
Lara said that “looking like an hourglass is back in vogue” because of the influence of American reality star Kim Kardashian and other celebrities.
She added that “an unreasonably small middle” is “very desirable.”
Lara (pictured) said shapewear clothes improve your body shape to mimic today’s favorite body shape
However, she cautioned: “These garments won’t fix what you may not like about your body. When designed well, they are designed to enhance what you already have or to mimic today’s favorite body shape.”

Lara, one of the Prime Minister’s four children with second wife Marina Wheeler, admitted she was concerned about the photo shoot, saying, “I realize this is the most compromising position I’ve ever interviewed.
“I’m naked from the waist down… while we talk about breast tissue and waist cinching.”
She added: “As we come out of multiple lockdowns, hedonism is combined with the desire to look our best – our most sculpted, our most cinched.”
London-based Lara posed for the magazine in a £48 black bra and £55 Heist briefs, a £150 Spanx corset, a Roland Mouret skirt and a Miu Miu cardigan.
