Sydney-based 24-year-old (photo) said she has made various health changes over the past two years – and it has really changed both internal and external health
1. Go for a walk in the morning
The first thing Dominique said that made a difference in her life is a daily morning walk.
“Because I have taken a morning walk into my life, I have experienced more energy for the day, a better mood at work, better digestion and a more restful night’s sleep,” Dominique said.
Even if it’s only 20 minutes, the model recommends swimsuits to get off the bus or train early or put on your trainers and walk to your office.
When it rains, Dominique said she is a fan of doing a few things in the morning.
This will help to put you in a positive state of mind for the coming day.

2. Pay attention to ingredients
Dominique’s second tip is to pay attention to ingredient lists.
“I know we hear all the time about dumping packaged foods, but like many of you, I trust it as a quick snack when I don’t have time to prepare a meal,” Dominique said.
Be sure to read the ingredient list of your packaged snacks, and choose the ones that do not contain artificial sweeteners and additives.
“I would suggest eating only packaged snacks with around six ingredients or less,” said Dominique.
She is a fan of Blue Dinosaur bars, RX bars and Health Lab protein balls.
The second tip from Dominique is to pay attention to ingredient lists and only buy ingredients with six items or less. She traded cow’s milk for vegetable varieties and is less bloated (pictured earlier)
3. Exchange cow’s milk for a vegetable alternative
Although you may not know about her Instagram feed Dominique said full of shots in swimwear that from the age of 21 she was actually suffering from a heavily bloated feeling, extreme stomach cramps and lack of energy.
“I’m not a nutritionist, but after stopping a month of dairy, these symptoms disappeared,” she said.
Now the model enjoys a series of vegetable milk with her coffee and smoothies – including oat milk, macadamia milk and soy.
4. Closed Instagram accounts that don’t inspire you
We are all guilty of being jealous of someone we don’t know on Instagram.
But Dominique said it’s time to hit non-follow if you regularly don’t feel inspired by someone’s profile.
“In the industry I am in, it is extremely difficult not to compare myself with other models and influencers,” she said.
This in turn leads to unnecessary anxiety and a lasting impact on her mental health.
Recently Dominique explained that she did not follow the social media profiles that do not elevate her and make her happy, and she recommends that everyone do the same.
It may sound simple, but the 24-year-old said it had a “dramatic” effect on how she feels.
Finally, the model (photo) said you may not realize it, but keeping a journal can be hugely beneficial to feeling and looking healthier
5. Keep a journal
Finally, the model said you may not realize it, but keeping a journal can be hugely beneficial to feeling and looking healthier.
Dominique started it a year ago, writing it from bed, and she said it helped her get through a difficult time with someone she was dating.
“After this experience, I promised myself to write down my thoughts every night, as well as ten things I was grateful for,” said Dominique.
Gratitude is a practice that has recently increased in popularity – with many stores selling “gratitude sheets” to encourage you to be thankful for some things in your life.

Dominique spoke earlier with FEMAIL about her health and beauty secrets – including her day on a plate and the guilty pleasure she can’t live without.
When it comes to her daily diet, Dominique’s approach is not surprisingly healthy, balanced and full of fresh vegetables:
“I will first get a green protein shake in the morning,” Dominique told Daily Mail Australia.
What is Dominique’s day on a plate?
* BREAKFAST: Green protein shake with frozen banana, vanilla and cinnamon protein powder, maca powder, a handful of spinach, spirulina powder, ice and water.
* MORNING SNACK: Tamari almonds.
* LUNCH: Tuna salad with brown rice, avocado and all other vegetables that she has on hand.
* SNACK: Peanut butter protein ball.
* SUPPER: Grilled salmon with sweet potato and broccoli.
* EVENING: Frozen raspberries with honey or a few pieces of 70 percent dark chocolate.
“I usually do a Bare Blendz frozen banana, vanilla and cinnamon protein powder, maca powder, a handful of spinach, spirulina powder, ice and water.”
As a morning snack, she gets a ‘handful of tamari almonds’.
Lunch usually sees the 24-year-old mix ‘a tuna salad with brown rice, avocado and all other vegetables that I have in the fridge. The more color, the better! “
If she is hungry in the afternoon, Dominique has a peanut butter protein ball for ‘grilled salmon with sweet potato and broccoli’.
It is refreshing that Dominique is not someone who robs himself.
Loving a ‘little treat’ in the evening, the model will enjoy frozen raspberries with honey or a few pieces of 70 percent dark chocolate.
“But my guilty pleasure is peanut butter,” she laughed. “I can eat a whole bath in one go!”
With such a refined physique, you could expect that Dominique is training 24/7.
But in fact she only makes sure she moves for 30 minutes every day:
“I made it a priority to walk for 30 minutes every day, just to make my body move every day,” she said.
“I also take a 15-minute abdominal and loot workout in the hotel room when I have the time.”
The 24-year-old then follows two reformer Pilates lessons and two yoga sessions per week:
“Because of my busy schedule and constant travel, it’s hard, but I’ve made it a priority to maintain my fitness,” she explained.
Dominique’s beauty secret is coconut oil – which she uses religiously on the ends of her hair to keep it healthy.
