“Salt Glow is one of the most revitalizing whole-body treatments you will ever experience!” Abigail wrote about her Instagram profile.

“I discovered this form of do-it-yourself body scrub from a book called” Back to Eden “when I was just in my teens, and I have been using them ever since to exfoliate my whole body with what I feel like the most maximum excitement ever – in a body scrub. ‘

The 45-year-old mother said she ‘prefers’ salt than any other body scrub ingredient, because salt’ is naturally high in the minerals we so badly need, causing the body to alkalize and restore much more than sugar, coffee , walnut shells or anything else I’ve tried so far ‘.

What are the benefits of a salt scrub?

* Exfoliation

* Increased blood flow and circulation

* Improves cellulite

* Anti-aging

* Relaxation

* Helps lymphatic movement

* Removes waste cells from the body

Abigail said she uses either 50 percent regular sea salt or Celtic salt, which is more expensive, but higher in essential minerals.

“If you use Celtic salt, just add 50 percent Epsom or magnesium salts and mix well,” she said.

If you’re feeling adventurous and don’t mind a mess, Abigail revealed that you can add a few extra health-boosting ingredients to your mixture, including an essential oil of your choice, spices like cinnamon, turmeric or ground coffee, vanilla, clay, seaweed or raw cacao.

“Today I use some powdered lemon myrtle in the base salt mix with mint, geranium essential oils and a hint of cloves,” said Abigail.

When it comes to the benefits of such a practice, they are numerous.

You can expect to stimulate your circulation, help the lymphatic movement, remove waste cells from the body and ‘activate your largest excretory organ – your skin’.

Abigail accompanied her post with a video of trying the salt scrub in her outdoor shower.

Previously, the model mom shared her other beauty secrets, including aloe vera as a skin serum and raw cocoa as an anti-aging face mask.

“This is my aloe vera from my garden,” Abigail explained in a video.

“All I do is cut it in half and you can see that it contains delicious slimy jelly. With that, I just cover the skin with all that wonderful moisturizing gel.

“It is actually the serum of nature. It just absorbs, without making your skin greasy. ‘

What is Abigail O’Neill’s day on a plate?

BREAKFAST: Softly poached eggs with piles of fresh herbs and seaweed

LUNCH: Antioxidant-rich cocoa and green smoothie

SNACK: Fresh cold-pressed vegetable juice

SUPPER: Fried root vegetables, legumes or rice with a green salad, with many finely chopped herbs such as dandelion leaves, basil, coriander and parsley

Her raw cocoa mask contains only two ingredients: raw cocoa and manuka honey, which are then mixed, applied to the face, held for an hour and then rinsed off.

Abigail previously spoke to FEMAIL and shared some of her other secrets:

“In a nutshell – clean eating, hydration, daily consumption of raw chocolate, hydrotherapy, rest, confidence (releasing stress), exercise, no alcohol or processed foods, and plenty of sun,” she said.

‘I also fast regularly and eat to give the organs a chance to rest and detoxify. If your internal organs are happy, your skin should also be glowing.

“I’ve lived so long now, actually three decades, but I believe it’s never too late to start, your body will always thank you for your good treatment.”

She regularly practices hydrotherapy – giving herself a good dose of cold water every day in her baths and showers.

“I also love to swim in wild mountain streams in the winter and in the ocean as often as I can,” added Abigail.

“Hot and cold is excellent for increasing metabolism, improving your overall health and youthful appearance.”

Abigail (pictured) said she also fasts “periodically” to allow her organs to rest and detoxify; this also helps her skin

The mother makes sure she eats organic food – and mostly plant-based.

“I only eat organic, mostly raw, mostly vegetable, locally grown products,” she said.

“I only take supplements based on real food, such as bee pollen, spirulina and barley grass powder.”

Plus, she swears by raw chocolate – which she says is the secret to her timeless complexion.

“Raw chocolate is actually like taking a multivitamin, but much more fun,” she said.

“I eat a generous portion of my raw chocolate every day,” she said.

“I think this is the best thing ever to eliminate cravings and restore rejuvenation, beauty and energy to my skin and body.”
