Mo Bamba and Austin Rivers throw PUNCHES at each other, unleashing a massive bench-clearing brawl during the Magic-Timberwolves game – and fighting results in FIVE players being sent off!
Mo Bamba and Austin Rivers got into a brawl in Minnesota on Friday night, when both benches were empty and five players were ejected from the game.
The incident happened with 1:32 left in the third quarter, with the Magic winning 83-73 at the time.
Rivers and the Magic Bank seemed to exchange words after the guard missed a three-pointer earlier in the game, and tensions finally boiled over when a timeout was called.
Alone at the Orlando bench after the dead ball, Rivers appeared to be hit first by Bamba as he was knocked back, before the veteran attempted to hit back before being knocked to the ground by the Magic’s Jalen Suggs.
The Taurean Prince of the T-Wolves tried to come to Rivers’ rescue, only to be pushed by Cole Anthony, while Anthony Edwards also tried to play peacemaker.

The incident ended with a scrum on the floor, as players from both sides raced to stop it
In the end, Rivers, Prince, and Jaden McDaniels were thrown for the hosts, while Bamba and Suggs were ejected for the Magic.
But the drama didn’t stop there.
According to Minnesota play-by-play announcer Michael Gradythere was a heavy police presence in the back corridors of the arena afterwards, and Bamba ran ‘all the way around the tunnel’ before being stopped.
The Magic big man continued the feud on Instagram afterwards, posting a popular meme of a graph on a whiteboard with the message “f*** around and find out.”
Rivers also took to his Instagram calling Bamba essentially irrelevant within the sport and suggesting that people didn’t like him in Orlando.
‘Buddy I went at you 1 in 5!!! With no backup!!,” he said.
“You needed your teammates or you would have (suffocated). speaking of discovery. We only know you from an old rap song… not hoops. Stfu. and Orlando my city. Ask around and really find out. They don’t mess with you there… facts!”
The Magic would win the game 127-120.
The fight comes just a day after Dillon Brooks and Donovan Mitchell were ejected from a Grizzlies-Cavs game in Cleveland when Brooks swung his arm into Mitchell’s groin, before Mitchell threw the ball at him and shoved his opponent.
Brooks was suspended for one game and Mitchell was fined $20,000.
