Rapper Ice Cube came under fire from MLB fans Saturday night after appearing at the World Series in support of the Dodgers, before old photos surfaced showing him in Yankees gear.
The Los Angeles native appeared on the field at Dodger Stadium before Game 2 and wore a Dodgers cap and jacket while performing his hit “Today Was a Good Day.”
But fans quickly dug up old photos of him in Yankees gear, with a horseshoe he a ‘sold’ in X.
Another sarcastically wrote‘Ice Cube, MASSIVE Los Angeles Dodgers fan in the building’ along with a photo of the rapper wearing a Yankees jersey and cap.
The photos are from a performance of his in 1992 at the Apollo Ballroom in New York City.

But fans found old photos of him in Yankees gear from a 1992 concert in New York City.
However, that wasn’t the only time Ice Cube donned another MLB team’s gear.
Fans also shared photos of him wearing an Orioles cap, a Nationals cap, and a White Sox cap.
One even boldly claimed, “Not a single Dodger fan knows who he is.”
However, most Dodger fans marveled at his pregame appearance on X.
The cube killed the man!! Good job,’ said one.
The rapper performed his hit ‘Today Was a Good Day’ in front of Dodger fans.
The appearance comes 32 years after he appeared at the Apollo Theater in Yankees gear.
‘WHAT A FUCKING TIME FOR LET’S GET IT,’ another added.
And a third said: ‘A true professional and a legend in the game.’ “Not many rappers could really dominate a stadium like that, we love seeing it.”
Game 2 comes after a truly wild Game 1 in which the Dodgers won on a Freddie Freeman grand slam.
The Dodgers, who were last champions in 2021, will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series before Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary) are played in New York.
