MLB: Aaron Judge hits a huge home run in the first in the Yankees’ freshman season bat against the Giants

Date:

Aaron Judge smashed a massive 422-foot home run in his first game of the new season for the Yankees against the Giants – the team he almost left the Bronx for in the off-season!

Aaron Judge hits an exciting comeback for his freshman baseball season, hitting a huge homer off the second pitch for the Yankees against the Giants.

The 30-year-old Judge sent a massive 422-foot putt deep into Logan Webb to knock the Yankees out and run to the lead in the first game of the season in front of an elated crowd at Yankee Stadium.

Newly hired Yankees captain Judge had almost left the Bronx in the offseason, and a move to the San Francisco Giants was a strong possibility.

But in his first game of the season, Judge, who hit an American League record 62 home runs last season, picked up exactly where he left off in a stunning start.

It was any team’s first home run in the new season, and significantly, Judge’s first Opening Day home run as well.
