An Australian tourist who sparked a major search after mysteriously disappearing in Bali earlier this month has reportedly been found alive and well.
Jackson Parker, 22, from southeast Queensland had not been heard from since November 8 and had not updated his social media.
His frantic parents sparked a massive search as they prepared to fly to Bali to look for him.
But before his father could board, he was found, much to the relief of his family and friends.
The news was confirmed by a close family friend.
‘Hello everyone… Jackson has been found,’ they wrote on social media.
‘Just in time for dad to miss the plane to Bali!’
His family had previously launched an urgent appeal to any tourists in Bali to help find their son, claiming it was “extremely out of character” not to be in touch.

“We are trying to find a missing Australian (our son) and we hope that some of you can share this message and information with anyone in Bali in the tourism industry, hotels, bars, hostels, tour operators, authorities and anyone you know “, said. Father Roly Parker posted on the Bali expat Facebook group.
“Jackson Parker has been listed as missing since November 8 and his family is desperate to find him.”
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) said Parker boarded a flight to Bali on October 30.
Parker’s visa entry said he had a reservation to stay at Premium Villas Seminyak in Denpasar, the island’s capital, but he did not check into the accommodation and has not been heard from since.
It is unclear why he had not been in contact with his family.
