Mischa Barton’s Neighbors debut brutally roasted by Australian comedians – as she stars in a raunchy storyline
OC star Mischa Barton has been unceremoniously mocked by some of Australia’s top comedians following her debut on the Amazon reboot of Neighbors last week.
Although the American actress’ fame has faded since her OC glory days, fans were still surprised that the former Hollywood ‘it girl’, 37, would choose to join a relatively low-budget production like Neighbours.
Mischa appeared on Monday’s episode of Channel 10 comedy show Have You Been Paying Attention? to promote her new role, but was ultimately brutally roasted live on air.
Mischa played the role of guest quizmaster and asked the panel to name the show she was currently appearing on.
Comedian Anne Edmonds quickly responded, “Bondi Career Rescue,” as fellow panelists Kitty Flanagan, Sam Pang and Jason Leong burst into fits of laughter.

“That’s not funny… it’s ‘Where are they now?'” joker Ed Kavalee joked.
Mischa’s character Reece Sinclair has already made quite an impression with her raunchy antics on Ramsay Street.
In her first scene, Reece tries to get help with her bags while checking into the Lassiters Hotel owned by Paul Robinson.

After being turned away by the receptionist who was having trouble getting her computer to work, Paul assigned Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux) to help Reece with her luggage.
We see Reece get into the elevator with the handsome hotel worker, who is acting as a male escort, and things immediately get tense between the pair as they hug.
Mischa started her career as a child actress in Hollywood films such as The Sixth Sense and Notting Hill, both of which were released in 1999.
However, she became a bona fide superstar when she was cast as troubled teen Marissa in the hit TV series The OC, which ran from 2003 to 2007.
The Amazon Prime reboot of Neighbors is already showing on Channel 10 and 10Play and will arrive on the streaming giant on September 25.
